The little 6 year old boy moved to Mississippi with his family.
Mom decided to take him for a walk in the woods shortly after they arrived. The little boy looked all around in wonder. He had always lived in the city and had never seen so many trees in one place.
As they walked along, he noticed a deer stand high up in a tree, and he said, “Look Mom, a tree house.”
Mom explained to him that it was not a tree house, but a tree stand — someplace to sit during deer season.
They walked quietly for a few minutes more, and he stopped and looked up at his mother. “Mom, you were just kidding me right? There’s no way you will ever get a deer to climb that ladder.”
